All Is Calm–Emotions, Essential Oils and the Holidays

Join us for a fun evening talking about emotions, self-compassion, essential oils and Christmas!

I will be sharing some tips for using oils to support our emotional health when times are stressful.

There will also be some Christmassy treats, because what's an event in December without mulled wine (made using essential oils), peppermint brownies (made with peppermint essential oils) & cheese and crackers?

If there is enough interest we can do a make & take. Perhaps you can make some body butter that you can give as a gift to someone for Christmas (or keep for yourself)!

I will have some diffuser bracelets and jewelry for sale if you want to pick up some Christmas gifts.

There will also be some "Three Kings" roller blends for purchase with pyrite (fool's gold), frankincense and myrrh. We will be having a raffle for a diffuser bracelet and an oil. If you bring a friend, you get your name in the raffle twice!

How this works:

The 30 day Mindfulness and Self-Compassion challenge begins on December 1st, 2016. 

You will receive an email every morning. 

The email will contain a short audio meditation, or a mindful movement video. Each day you will have some thoughts for reflection and some days each week you will get a simple worksheet on the theme for the week. 

Why start something like this in the busiest month of the year? Many people find the holidays very stressful, and way too busy. We felt that beginning a practice like this during such a busy time would be such a great gift to yourself. It is our goal that you will get through this month feeling calmer and way more centered.

Essential oils have a heap of application for health & wellness. They can be used to support our physical health and our mental health. As well they have a huge role decreasing our exposure to toxins. 

We will share how to use oils for supporting emotions. Including: stress relief, uplifting our moods, anchoring positive emotions, and dealing with unwanted feelings.

We will talk science and share about the importance of picking a high grade essential oil.

Join us at Repose Therapy Clinic to talk about how to use essential oils to replace the toxic load of products you may have in your home. 

Jenn will demonstrate how to make natural lip balm and natural deodorant using simple ingredients. You will receive a recipe, and if you wish to make a deodorant & lip balm to take home, you can have one of each for $8.00. 

We will be creating a casual atmosphere where you can smell oils, we will share the benefits of using doTERRA essential oils, as well as the top oils to get for detoxing your home.

HOW do you want to feel? (Block One) Three Sessions
WHAT do you need to do to feel the way you want to feel? (Block Two)Three Sessions

Sessions will be Thursdays and Saturdays starting June 9th. Calls will be from 10:00-11:30 PST, or 1:00-2:30 EST. All calls will be recorded, so if you can't make them at the time, you can listen later when you're cozied up sipping tea, having a bath or out on a relaxing walk. 

Block One: How do you want to feel? We will cover these topics: The power of gratitude. Exploring your strengths. What are they? What lights you up? Discovery around how you want to feel in the life areas of Livelihood & Lifestyle, Relationships & Society, Body & Wellness, Essence & Spirituality, Creativity & Learning. You will discover your Core Desired Feelings, the GPS for your soul. 

Dates for Block One: Thursday June 9th, Saturday June 11th, Thursday June 16th Times: 10:00-11:30 PST

We will have a little time off between Blocks One and Two in case you need to catch up. 

Block Two: What do you need to do every day to feel the way you want to feel? We will cover these topics: Clearing space for our core desired feelings. Something needs to go in order to make space for making choices to feel the way you want to feel. Your Core Desired Feelings are your new GPS for your life. We will explore how that is a shift from more traditional forms of goal-planning. 

Remember HOW you want to feel, your WHY (what is your purpose) to create a plan to feel the way you want to feel. The daily choices and thoughts matter. We will explore ideas on how to anchor our core desired feelings. One of these tools is using essential oils.

Most of us get into the mental health field because we want to give back, or help. We will spend some time in this webinar looking at the radical/cutting edge shifts that have occurred in the field over the years. We will examine how as service providers, our desire to “help” sometimes gets in the way of a person’s journey towards greater self-determination. We will look at our own feelings around the need to “help”, and the desire to see a positive outcome. We will look at how we can foster environments that move people towards greater self-determination.

Session objectives:

1. Exploration around radical advocacy through looking at some history of the recovery movement– highlighting some radical advocates.
2. We will identify what self-determination is.
3. We will examine how our worldview influences the service we provide.
4. As supporters and service providers we will examine the way we provide support, and look at some shifts that will support the people we serve towards greater self-determination.
