Mindful Living = Satisfying and Fulfilling Lives
A Two-Day wellness and mindfulness workshop, based on the program Wellness Recovery Action Plan.
Dates: To be announced
Life is so very busy.
We are bombarded with many responsibilities—family, work, community commitments. I found that it is very easy to put myself last, if I don’t make my own health and wellness a priority.
On a flight recently, the phase, "In the event of an emergency, please put on your own oxygen mask before assisting others,” had new and deeper meaning for me.
There are limits to what and how much we can do. If we are withdrawing more than we are depositing, we’re going to run into trouble. Overdraft is imminent. It takes mindfulness, intentionality, and planning to live a satisfying and fulfilled life. This doesn’t happen when we are living on autopilot. Never. Unless by some chance we win a lottery—then we might feel happy and satisfied for about 5 minutes.
Knowing how we want to feel, and keeping our desires in mind, while daily planning is essential.
But even that can sound overwhelming. Right?
This is an evidence-based program. It will guide you through the process of discovery, building awareness, and conscious planning around your health and wellness.
Discover what lights you up! What do you need to do every day to thrive? You will make a plan!
You will develop an awareness of what triggers you. What gets your heart pumping (in a bad way) and makes your body feel uncomfortable. Create an empowering plan for what you can do when these things happen.
Becoming mindful of what things look like when you start to spiral, and what can you do to get back on track.
Wellness Tools are a cornerstone of the program. Sometimes in life when we are overwhelmed, unwell or stressed out, we can forget to do the things we love to do and that give us life.
WRAP is a program created by Mary Ellen Copeland and is used around the world. Many people have experienced significant improvement in their well-being due to putting the work into creating a wellness plan. If you put the work in, you will see the difference.
If this resonates with you and you are interested in coming to the workshop to create a living, breathing wellness plan, Please come!
