A Desire Map Workshop  

 

Clarity on how you want to feel is the starting point for living the life you want.

It certainly doesn't mean that life will be perfect. There will be hard times. 

That's where self-compassion comes in.  

 



   

 

 


What will the day look like?

This is a retreat close to home! 

It won't be a whole day listening to a lecture. No way. Think of it as a gift you can give yourself to dig deeper and get inspired to live an inspired life. 

We will have lots of time to share thoughts and ideas on these topics;

  • gratitude & dissatisfaction
  • self-compassion–loving kindness directed to ourselves when we struggle (most of us don't really understand what this is)
  • when was the last time you thought about how you WANT to feel? Talking through that will be a big part of the day. 
  • learning how to say no, so you can say YES
  • how do I live my life with intentionality

We will work together. It's really hard to navigate this on our own. 

You will have time to do some deeper refection on your own in Fort Langley, and come back and process with the group. 

We will anchor it using creativity! We will talk about how to create a practice. PRACTICE is how we make things stick. 

 


We can find joy, even in the struggle.

Knowing how we want to feel is a HUGE paradigm shift.

When was the last time you focussed on how you want to feel? 

It's time. 

 

Research says that people who practice self-compassion are more likely to exercise personal responsibility, than those who do not.

 

People who are self-compassionate tend to be more motivated, because their inner critic isn't the boss anymore.

We will be providing coffee and snacks.

You bring your own lunch (or head to a great little restaurant).

You bring your own Desire Map book.  

 

You will also get some special treats...like a custom essential oil roller blend to support you with anchoring your core desired feelings. 

 



Harness your personal power. 

You are the expert on you. Only you can put yourself in the driver's seat of your life. 

 

We’ll look at our perceptions around “feelings” and goal setting. We’ll examine how we drive and strive, and see where in our lives we experience freedom — and where we want more of it. 

 

You will be guided through 5 life areas, to explore your most desired feelings in:

Lifestyle + Livelihood

Creativity + Learning

Body + Wellness

Relationships + Society

Essence + Spirituality

 

We will create sacred space, inner and outer – a community of intention. 

We will offer up our own wisdom, relate, and learn from each other.

You will make some soul-anchored declarations and attach them to some every day PLANS. Poetic to the practical.

You will learn about the three components of self-compassion (Self-Kindness, Common Humanity and Mindfulness).

It helped me clear space for things I want to do but "never had time for" and to evaluate what is and isn't working in my life.
